Near the Eagle Cap Wilderness area in the very North Eastern part of Oregon, is a place known as Wallowa Lake. It was formed by a glacier millions of years ago and what you see on the left side of the image is part of the "Terminal Moraine". That is all the rocks and debris that is at the very end of the glacier. I swam in that lake in the hottest part of summer and it will still put "Goose Bumps" on you. I don't think the water ever gets above 50 degrees F (10 Degrees C).
