One of the more recognisable buildings in Melbourne, Flinders Street Station is always a hub of activity, as people go about their daily lives. Tram wires criss-cross between buildings, as hundreds of people walk into and out of the entrance. over 100 000 people go through this station every day. Think the architecture is strange? It's still not known whether the plans got mixed up with plans for a train station in Mumbai. This would explain the alcoves that seem to leave space for street vendors on the Banana Aleey section. (I went into Melbourne with a friend the other day,in the next few images I hope to show you a bit of my home city, and what makes it unique)
