Between the River Road plantations and the old world charm of New Orleans lies the sleepy town of Gramercy where cattle graze amid the oaks and moss of southern Louisiana. This photo was shot on the solstice, the shortest day of the year, when this unique light strikes the moss in just this way on my drive home from work.
