A little snow, a little ice, a little running water, a little sunlight, a little bit of shadow...I see a scene like this and wonder why the water runs the way it it does. Is it random or is it guided by by depth, shallowness, amount of sunlight...and then I wonder 'does it really matter'? In the end it will get where it is supposed to go...just like all of us.
