One of many fist-sized blossoms this tree produces. It's been difficult to find a composition that works with the odd symmetry of this flower. Shot with a Canon 100mm IS macro lens, the EF 12 II extension tube & the MR-14EX ring flash. With the extension tube in place, all distance focusing is gone. The benefit is higher magnification and a very blurry background, or bokeh. I like the trade-off so far.
