Just a bit of Highway 1 can be seen in this shot looking north toward Big Sur, California. For a city kid like me, to be standing on this spot, all alone with this view, was magic. The last ten years away was far too long. The constant cold wind that kept trying to knock me over was like nature saying: welcome back.
