Very large creche's are somewhat unusual in my corner of America. This one is lifesize, located in front of a furniture store that has been owned and operated by a large family for several generations. I had been meaning to photograph it for some time and, in the press of Christmas activities, I didn't get around to it...until we had a light snow. Then I knew it was the time! About 6" on my immediate left is the edge of a steep bank, which goes down to a shoulder of a curving 6-lane divided highway...at the time filled with Christmas shoppers. Against my right leg is the rest of the creche scene...a cow laying down (covered with snow). I wish I could show all of the creche to you, but it was just not practical...I chose the colorful Wise Man over the sleeping cow. I removed a power post and line on the left edge and then tried a watercolor filter. I will post the pre-filtered version if anyone has an interest in it. Thanks for coming to take a look!
