I found this mortarless brick floor...forming a terrace...at the Stonewall Jackson Shrine in Caroline County, VA. Although this is the site where Stonewall Jackson died...but for all that it is a singlularly peaceful place... especially in the early morning when the birds are waking up and before the tourists come. It is wooded with broad stretches of lawn and includes the old plantation office where Gen. Jackson spent the last six days of his life. Thanks for coming to take a look, and I hope you like the textures and detail interest here. This one needs to be seen on full screen. :)
