If all goes well, I'm going to put this pic in the PhotoJournalism contest. I am vague on what PhotoJournalism should be but I have a few independent concepts that might apply. This is an illustration of one of them...the idea that some people do a lot before the working day for most begins, and other people do a lot after the working day for most ends. They are the unseen enablers "behind the curtain". With this in mind, I got up early on a Monday morning and drove into town to see if I could find people doing stuff that I do not normally observe, but what I would certainly notice if it was not done. This is an example. There are lots of leaves, and he had blown them some distance when I saw him. By hand motions I asked him if I could take his picture and he nodded...so here he is, clearing the sidewalk at the back of the local newspaper building on a cold, but sunny morning. Now is this an aspect of PhotoJournalism? I don't know. Thanks for coming to take a look.
