You can see by the long shadows that the day was ending. Still, when I shot this beautiful old tree, I knew that I was shooting a little early. I didn't wait...I was already late for an appointment...and so I took this exposure anyway. Imagine my surprise to see the flare on the side! Blind luck, and most welcome!
