I found this lovely example of a split rail fence about 30 feet from the Rappahannock River on the site of a small picnic area. The site was closed the day I was there...but I think I would have opted for this view even if I could have gone inside the enclosure. I was taken by the crooked rails and the way the light made the scene so interesting. Thanks for coming to take a look!
