By Request - This is another, but frontal view ,of the Jail on the Contraband movie site, in Big Bend, Texas. The film, which I have never seen, was shot on location , on the privately owned , Big Bend Ranch. The ranch is immense, and encompasses the land fronting on the Rio Grande, and Mexican border, only 100 feet or so, from the front of the Jail. It appears to be well maintained, but unattended. I had the village all to myself.The site is immediately South of the highway, and a couple miles West of Terlinga, which is just a few miles West of Big Bend National Park.
