This print was not in the best condition. Thought maybe a surreal effect, might salvage it. Deep in Death Valley, are a number of Ghost Towns, and long closed mines. The name of this one is on the proverbial, "Tip of my tongue". Unfortunately, my brain is no longer speaking to my tongue. Anyway, the Ghost town is situated in the SouthWest quadrant of Death Valley, a few miles West of Stovepipe Wells, and was 120 degrees, when I shot this picture. It cooled down nicely, that night. Went all the way down, to 112 degrees. In the far right background, the little building, was the jail/gaol. Don't get me wrong. Death Valley is a unique and remarkable place to visit, and there are nice accomodations, and campgrounds to be found there, and very much to see and do. Also, I was there in August, but had air conditioning in the camper.
