Traveling East across the Texas Panhandle on a beautiful autumn day, this gorgeous image seemingly appeared out of nowhere. It only covered about five square miles, and at 75mph I thought I could get past it. I managed a few one handed shots through the windshield and got by it without having to use my wipers. It was a new image stabilized 17 to 85mm Canon lens, and when I saw the truck logo and the mileage sign, I decided it was probably working as advertised.
