There's been quite a bit of TV and Press coverage of JFK's assassination fifty years ago, .....yet I wonder if we'll ever know the truth. It was late in the day when I shot this at the arena in Pontiac, Michigan.It was the third and final political rally of the day, all of which I had covered. I knew he recognized me as the Canadian from just across the Detroit river in Windsor, Ontario, but I've always thought the grin was for the response I gave his question, early that morning. At the breakfast Press Conference he had asked me what Canadians were thinking with regard to the close presidential race. I hadn't a clue but suggested they would be happy to see a President that spent less time on the golf course, and got the same grin.
