Another old Kodachrome of the North East end, which is the beginning of the Grand Canyon. The light area through the center is the Colorado River flowing West/left, through it and on South to it's end in Mexico. There's no fencing along either side, and it's a mile down to the canyon floor, so if you ever visit, pay attention to where you place your feet.
