Christmas day we went to provincetown again, to napi's restaurant for dinner, and on the way back I caught the p'town skyline with a luscious orange sunset as a backdrop... the tower is the pilgrim monument, at 252 feet in height the tallest granite tower in the US... it commemorates the Pilgrims' first landfall (1620) in the New World at what is now provincetown harbor... on a clear day, from the top of the tower you can see the entire cape as well as boston to the northwest...and I keep meaning to climb it and take some pictures... ;-)
