I saw this kind of effect in an art photography magazine and it took me weeks to figure out how to achieve something similar... I had my diffusion filter on and moved the camera slightly up and down with my hands. Obviously the same effect can be accomplished by a slower shutter speed, but I usually like to complicate my life by doing things the hard way... ;-) I hope you like it... (my contest entry.)
