I read Tolkien years ago before anyone thought of making movies from his books. The fires of Mount Doom were one of the images that has always stuck in my mind and it was really brought to life by the films. Hope this brings it to life too. The original was of Whangarei Heads - pretty scary in themselves when seen by moonlight.
