taken with fuji s9500 digi , re-sized for web pic shows the fiddlers ferry power station in warrington cheshire the picture was taken from funcorn, looking over the manchester ship canal and the river mersey one late evening. it has eight towers , one once fell down with high winds but was rebuilt i think the chinmeys are 300 feet high oh yes the tide is out , and the land you see in the fore ground , is wigg island, used to be a council tip and a place where mustard gas during the war , the land has now been de-contimaniated and is now a nature reserve , opened by bill oddie , part of the mersey waterfront project . hope u like TRW PJ
