Have you been anywhere near a mall or shopping center or even just out and about in city traffic this weekend? I have. I spent the day with my daughter driving all around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, USA) looking for stuff for the holidays. We did try to go to one of the malls, but absolutely COULD NOT find a place to park in the many acres of parking lot. Whew! Thank goodness for small favors, because the freeway traffic was enough lunacy for me!! So, if your having a tough weekend, stay home, round up a few close friends, some good food and your favorite beverage, blast some of your best tunes, put on your stocking cap and mittens and pull up some lawn chairs around the huge bonfire you've built in the middle of your snowy yard and UNWIND!!! Protect what's left of your sanity. Skip the stress of shopping because your family will enjoy your company so much more during the holidays if you're not wigged out from fist fighting a complete stranger for the last Dora the Explorer doll!***Thanks for viewing and any comments are greatly appreciated.
