As cold as it is they seem so content to be on the water. This is one of the family of ducks that go between the pond (that is now frozen) and the Tippy River. I have seen cars stopped for them as they cross the road.
They are being fed by myself and a lady that lives in the housing addition. It's been a hard cold winter for them, but their doing ok.They now are staying at the river but trek up to the house for some goodies.
Used the Canon 450D with the canon 70-300mm ef IS USM lens on a sunny day. Thanks once again for your time, friendship and helpful advice.
