I spent some time today in the Port Clinton, Ohio area. I visited the Crane Creek Park which sits on Lake Erie (one of the great lakes). This is a must revisit place for me. I will probably do an overnight stay. This park has it all - vast marsh lands, beach walks and canal boardwalk.

As we were leaving we passed this wooded area that is not far from the observation tower and my good friend Donna (dustycat) spotted some deer.

So of course I stopped the car and using the canon 70-300 IS USM lens aimed past Donna, and out the passenger window. It was a long day, and drive but the weather was agreeable and I truly enjoyed this place.
