I thought this tiger seemed so proud and rather content. These animals were rescued from some deplorable situations, from being drug guards, to being left in very small pens, and could not even hardly move around. There are 223 of them at the rescue center, and when I go back next year and stay overnight, I will get see them all, and go with the care takers on their rounds. That is part of the package you get for staying overnight. I'm looking forward to that so much. They have mostly tigers, but also the lions, a panther, serval, bobcat, and a couple of cougars. The smaller animals are kept in smaller areas because of the need for space, but the conditions are far better than what they had when rescued. Some of the people are staffed and paid and others volunteer their time to this very needed cause. It is one of the largest rescue centers in the states.
Thanks for the comments my friends.
