I took a back road that is about a mile from my house, and spotted a pair of these cranes. In this area we usually see a few, but take a drive west of here and you will probably see many of them.

I was lucky to see two sets of them this morning, but this was a much better place where I could just stop in my tracks, and shoot.

I hope you will view this in full size, I did the editing in photofiltre studio x, I tried topaz, but liked this one a bit more.

We had a good rain, and I think they were going after bugs in this bean field.
