The other morning I took some pictures of my daughter Shannon, and her horses, I thought this was a nice one of her, and Blaze. She had carrots in her closed hand, Lol!

My hobby is photography, and horses are her's.

As a young girl she always wanted a horse, after moving to Indiana from the city life of California, I told her she could have one, if she earned it by working. She spent two summer's corn detassling (which is not easy) and bought her first horse, a palamino gelding named Silver, who she had untill he started getting old, and was having health issues, so she had to have him put down.

Silver, and Blaze shared space together, when she bought Blaze, after getting out in the regular work force. After putting Silver down, she came across an ad from someone that was looking for a good home for their Tennesse Walker (Rose), and their Paint named Sandi. How odd that my name is Sandi, and my mom's name is Rose Ann! Lol! His family had outgrown the two horses, and gave them to shannon for free with the promise she would take both, because they were pasture buddies. She kept Sandi until she started to suffer from arthristis, and it was only getting worse. So now she has Blaze, and Rose, who get along so well, and both are very good rides.
