I would like you to meet Tom Tom. He is a stray who started showing up around my mom's this past summer. We have made a bond, and when the weather was nice I would have my morning coffee sitting on that swing on the front porch you see in the picture, with him usually by my side.

Now that the weather is cold, I have propped open the porch door, and have made him what I call a cat house.

I placed a folded army blanket on the cold porch cement, with another old blanket on top of that, and using a lawn chair placed another old blanket over the chair, and it's totally enclosed except for the cat door which is pointing away from the front of the porch where the screen is,to cut down on cold air blowing in.

Most of the time he can be found just laying on the swing, but he has that extra option, and with the extreme cold temps we are due for soon, (they are calling for a high of 0 next Tuesday, at least he has another option.

I'm a softie through, and through, I still have the rescue kitty Bella that is inside the house, and is now spayed.

I would like to get Tom neutered, and when the weather gets better I'm going to try getting him into a carrier, and see how he reacts. One of my cats at my house just will not travel in a carrier, so I will have to see how Tom does.
