I was not sure what category to put this in but since I was at the Calendar garden, I chose that one. This is my first attempt at this type of shooting.

I placed the globe on a picnic table that was in the shade but as you can see I was looking out into the sunlit garden.

Nikon D500 with the Nikkor 24-70mm lens. F/8 ISO 400 62mm Metering Pattern.

You have to be very careful if you use in the sun, because of the magnification it can burn your hand in just a matter of few minutes.

I saw this shaded spot, and thought it might work out okay, and be alot safer.
