I have taken many pictures over the years, but this is a first time capture for me. I wondered about the condition of this blue jay, so sent it to my friend Brenda, who is birder, and she informed me it's molting. Google says that they go through this in late summer, and lasts about a week. I guess I don't normally take bird pics. at this time of year.

I thought this is a bit wacky for Wednesday.
