I'm posting two edits of this scene today.
Fayette, Michigan was a living/working community in the 1800's for about 20 years. They manufactured charcoal (pig iron). It is now a historic state park.
It is located between Snail Shell Harbor, and Sand Bay on the southern side of the U.P.
It is a living museum of times gone by, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
This area is beautiful, and one of my favorites of places I visited while in the upper peninsula.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
