This photo was taken in Kauai at the town of Hanapepe which is on the southwest coast of the island. A great many of the boat excursions leave from there including the 60 Ft. catamaran we boarded for a Na'Pali coast tour shortly after I shot this. We were in the sunshine but rains and mist hung over Waimea where we were headed as you can see from the sky. While we were out a nasty storm came up making the boatride a disaster for anyone prone to motion sickness (uhh that would be me)! But I did like the contrasts in this shot which shows Kauais' very changeable weather. All comments appreciated.
