I used what is called a variable focus in my new camera for this shot. The main focus moves to your chosen spot, in this case the bleeding heart branch hogging the sun, and the remainder of the shot shifts to what is called "easy" focus. Appears to me it's a combination of soft focus and sharp focus. I would love some honest comments and criticisms on this since the concept is new to me. Thanks.
