This is a surprise tree - it wasn't supposed to pop up in front of the stately golden oak or next to the 30' fir. But this hardy maple wanted to be by the edge of the pond and so it is. I've watched it grow from a little sapling to a now 12' beauty. All comments and critiques appreciated.
