After a much delayed spring in my area,(we are running about 3 weeks late)the crabapple and magnolias are finally starting to bloom. When I was in Iowa this weekend, the crabapples there also started popping just in time for my niece's wedding. This is the darkest color of crabapple which is called red in garden catalogs but it's a beautiful rose shade I think. All comments and critiques appreciated.
