The pansies available in the garden center are usually my first sign of spring - I purchase them and have pansies planted on my terrace as soon as the weather will allow. This is from my mix called Blue Frost - taken earlier this month before we had 6" of rain yesterday! Today they are battered and soaked but they will bounce back as pansies are very hardy. A lesson for us all.
