My post for MM(manic Monday)is this crazy downy woodpecker hanging upside down and pecking away at the tree outside my window. He's been hanging around since fall and I've been trying to get a decent shot of him as he's on the move constantly hopping from branch to branch. He occasionally pecks right side up but definitely prefers this hanging position. I've yet to get a shot of the female but she's out there too. I never would have got this without my new tripod set up in the living room ready to snap at a moments notice through the glass!
