Our little lake behind my condo building is being frequented this spring by a Great Egret or Great White Heron, the largest of the egrets - it goes by both names. It is a very tall bird standing about 3.5 feet. He apparently liked the selection of fish in our little spot and I have another shot of him going after one of our turtles.
