The condo property where I live was greatly benefitted by being built on the site of a former nursery. However my area and many in the Chicago area have been hit hard by a pest called "emerald ash borer". 32 trees must be removed from our property and the work is in progress. I shot a series of the work bringing down one 45ft. ash near my condo. The workman saw me with the camera and I pointed to it and he gave me a thumbs up so I started shooting. The first shot he is just starting his climb up the tree. He's up about 1 story high and adjusting all the ropes and equipment.
