I live only 15 minutes from the Chicago Botanic Garden which oddly enough is not in Chicago but Glencoe Il. I had let my membership lapse for a few years but have rejoined and visited for the first time in 3 years this morning. This shot is of the great fountain in North Lake looking from the crescent garden to the fruit and vegetable islands. The structures across the waters are the arbors where grapes are grown. As you can see it is a beautiful day with a temperature of 70F. and gentle breezes off Lake Michigan which is only about 2 miles east of this spot.
