Abutilon is a large genus of flowering plants in the mallow family. It is found throughout the tropics and subtropics of the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Common names include Indian mallow and velvetleaf. When I first saw it it looked like a drooping hibiscus which makes sense since hibiscus is also from the same family as is rose mallow and rose of Sharon. My Fx2 for this week.
