My very first camera, believe it or not, was a Polaroid when they first went color. It did not take particularly good pictures but I went through some of them recently, I noticed they fade in a rather unique way. Green seems to be the last color to go and there is always a slight yellow cast to them. I've spent some hours over the last few days trying to replicate the look of those faded Polaroids in this picture from my files. Looking through them brought back memories of people no longer here with us but always in my heart. This is my entry for the retro contest and I leave with one of my favorite photographic quotes: "Photos may give insight into our lives, but memories of those times, is what keeps them alive."
