On our tour of the Chicago Botanic Garden we are now approaching the English Walled Garden. You can see the wall in the background. This beautiful and rather imposing gazebo sits about 50 yards outside the garden almost as a sentry. From inside you get a spectacular view back across the Great Basin with all the aquatic gardens and Evening Island and the Carillon. The architecture of the gazebo matches the upcoming English Garden.
