This is a church in a town about 15 miles up the road from where I live. I've been telling my husband for years I wanted to take a picture of it and last Tuesday was finally that day. The style of it is so striking on a clear day against the blue Midwestern sky. However it is a very atypical style for my part of the country, we tend to build churches of brick not clapboard. It reminded of churches I'd seen in Virginia and New England. It is Christ Church, Lake Forest IL. I chose Sunday to post it for obvious reasons.
