Our very late crab trees are just starting to bloom. The white ones always bloom first followed by the light pink then the dark pink. They usually bloom about the last 2 weeks of April and the 1st week of May. This April was the 4th coldest in the records for the Chicago area so we have a much delayed spring blooming season as a few white crab trees are just starting to bloom now. My Fx2 for this week - taken in April 2015 - a much different spring.
