We moved two weeks ago after living for 39 years on one street. This is the NE view from my 6th floor balcony where we live now. We are on the top floor and face N. This wooded area is the southern edge of the campus grounds of the Lake County College southern campus. Lots of birds flitting back and forth and the white stuff you see on the ground is not snow but cottonwood from the trees blooming now near the Des Plaines river which is about 1/2 mile away.
