Also known as wishbone flower. In this shot I was able to capture the wishbone inside the flower's throat including the tiny oval nectar sac hanging from it.(please look at the large version.) This flower is a favorite of hummingbirds as they break the wishbone to get at the nectar sac. Bees like it also but they don't have to break the wishbone to get at the sac.
