Looks blue from a distance but close up you can see a mix of blue and purple on the petals. It also describes my mood after that deplorable display in my nation's capital yesterday. I've visited the capitol building several times and treasure all the wonderful history there - it is difficult to be proud of my country today but we survived once again and hopefully the psychopathic instigator will soon be gone.
