Taken this morning at a very large nursery/garden center. They must have had over 200 hibiscus plants and trees. For the last decade it's been a trend to have hibiscus on your patio or your porch. Many restaurants also use them on outdoor seating areas. Now we know it's a tropical so it does not survive the Chicago area winter - it's being treated and sold as an annual. I found this tangerine colored one really pretty after the watering it had.
