I moved 5 years ago to Lake County IL which is about 13 miles north of where I lived for 40 years. This area is covered with wild crabtrees mostly white, some light pink. I see them every where I go at this time of year. These are in the forest area across from the building where I live. I'm lucky enough to see them every day when they bloom.
