This is the maple tree in front of my balcony (6th floor) - I look down on it. The top of the tree always changes first usually in mid to late August. As you can see from today's shot the change has started. I don't know what kind of maple it is but the bottom 7/8th's is still very green. This is the earliest changing maple I have ever seen and there are several of them on this property. So fall is coming!
